TIFGA Mourns the Passing of Dr. Domaz Bronvacic
TIFGA today announced with deep regret the passing of Dr. Domaz Bronvacic, Co-Director of the Institute, who died peacefully surrounded by friends and family.
Dr. Bronvacic was a founding pillar of TIFGA and played a defining role in shaping its scientific vision and international reputation. His contributions to interdisciplinary research and institutional leadership have left a lasting mark on the Institute and the broader scientific community. He is survived by his wife, Martina Bronvacic. The couple had no children.
“Dr. Bronvacic’s intellectual rigor, integrity, and commitment to scientific responsibility will be remembered with great respect,” a TIFGA spokesperson said. “Our thoughts are with his family and those closest to him during this time.”
Out of respect for the family’s privacy, no further details will be released.
TIFGA will honor Dr. Bronvacic’s legacy by continuing its work in accordance with the principles he helped establish.
